Students protest education reform in Italy
A student, wearing a mask, reading: 'I was cut,' protests in front of the Italian Lower House in Rome on Thursday.
Students protesting government education reforms stormed the Colosseum and the Leaning Tower of Pisa, Italy's official news agency reported Thursday.
The protests at the historic Italian sites were two of many demonstrations Thursday in many Italian cities, the ANSA news agency reported.
Students are unhappy that the new reforms could leave thousands of teachers out of work, the agency said.
